Specialty Real Estate: Opportunistic Niche Real Estate in Underserved Markets

We identify, underwrite and invest in real estate assets that exhibit strong asset coverage and cash flow characteristics but are nascent in their capital market development and/or are orphaned by traditional real estate buyers (i.e., fly under the radar of most real estate capital).

Ironside is intentionally opportunistic within real estate as we believe thematic real estate investing is exposed to cyclical cost of capital pressure and/or increased risk tolerance. To date, we have financed and owned e-commerce/COVID resistant single tenant retail real estate, mobile home parks, tertiary market multi-family assets and senior housing facilities.
